Google ranks HTTPS sites higher
In today's digital world, SSL is not optional—it's essential for every website.
SSL encrypts sensitive information like passwords, credit cards, and personal data transmitted between your website and visitors.
Google prioritizes HTTPS websites in search results. SSL certificates help your site rank higher and get more organic traffic.
The padlock icon and HTTPS in the address bar signal to visitors that your site is secure and trustworthy.
SSL is required for PCI compliance if you accept credit card payments. Protect your business from liability.
Our expert team provides free SSL installation assistance. We handle the technical setup so you can focus on your business.
Never worry about expired certificates. Our auto-renewal feature keeps your site secure without interruption.
Common questions about SSL certificates answered by our experts.
Yes! SSL is essential for security, SEO, and building trust with your visitors.
In Plesk (https://plesk.mypandos.io), open your domain, go to Security → SSL/TLS Certificates, and click Install under the free Let's Encrypt option (tick www and webmail, with and without www). Use Reissue certificate to renew. Then enable “Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS” in the domain's Hosting settings. If validation fails, your domain must point to myPandos DNS — wait for propagation.
Yes. A free SSL certificate is a standard feature of myPandos Shared and WordPress Hosting plans. It is a Let's Encrypt certificate that you install from Plesk in a few clicks, it can cover your domain with and without www plus webmail, and it renews automatically. If you need organisation validation, a wildcard, or several domains on one certificate, myPandos also sells DV, OV, EV, wildcard and multi-domain (SAN) certificates — browse them in the shop and manage them under Products → SSL Certificates at dash.mypandos.io.
We offer free installation assistance. Many hosting plans include auto-SSL installation.
Free Let's Encrypt certificates renew automatically: Plesk starts renewing about 30 days before expiry, and myPandos runs a daily check that re-issues the certificate if it is still not renewed 14 days out. Certificates bought from myPandos renew on your billing cycle — you get a renewal invoice, auto-renew is on by default, and we email a confirmation when the renewal completes. If an automatic renewal fails it is almost always because the domain no longer points at your hosting, is proxied through a third party, or the site is offline; fix that, then use Reissue certificate in Plesk once.
DV validates domain ownership, OV validates your organization, and EV provides the highest level of trust with a green address bar.
Usually one of: no certificate has been installed yet, the certificate expired, the certificate does not cover the exact name being visited (for example it covers example.com but not www.example.com), the server is serving a self-signed or default certificate, the page loads insecure images or scripts (mixed content), visitors are landing on the http:// address because HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect is off, or the domain's DNS points somewhere else. Click the padlock to view the certificate details, then install or reissue the certificate in Plesk and enable Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.
