Sending limits: why bulk or 100+ BCC emails silently disappear
Shared hosting mailboxes have hourly sending limits to protect everyone's deliverability. A send to 100+ BCC recipients can be dropped silently once you cross them. For newsletters or bulk mail, use a proper mailing tool (or ask us about options) and keep normal mail under the limits.
Every shared mail platform limits how many messages a mailbox may send per hour β it is what keeps the server off spam blacklists, which protects YOUR normal mail too.
What it looks like
A campaign sent to 100+ BCC addresses appears to send, but many copies never arrive: over-limit messages are dropped or deferred, often silently.
What to do
- Newsletters and bulk: use a dedicated mailing tool (Mailchimp, Brevo, etc.) or ask our team about bulk-friendly options β these authenticate properly and track delivery.
- Normal correspondence: spread large sends over time and prefer To/CC lists of real recipients over giant BCC blasts.
- Ask us for your exact limit: our team can confirm the current per-hour limit for your plan in the chat.
