How to install or renew a free SSL certificate in Plesk
Secure your website with a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate in a few clicks from Plesk.
A free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate lets your site load over HTTPS (the padlock in the browser). You can install or renew it yourself from Plesk in a few clicks.
Install the certificate
- Open your domain in Plesk. Sign in at https://plesk.mypandos.io and click the domain for the site you want to secure.
- In the domain's dashboard, find the Security section and click SSL/TLS Certificates.
- Click Install under “Install a free basic certificate provided by Let's Encrypt”. Select these options:
- Secure the domain, including www and webmail
- Include the domain both with and without www
- Protect webmail
Force HTTPS
Back in the Hosting settings for the domain, tick Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS so visitors always use the secure address.
Troubleshooting
- Validation error: the domain must point to myPandos DNS. Wait for DNS propagation and confirm the main domain is configured.
- Certificate not trusted: allow time for propagation and re-check the domain's DNS.
