Which phone numbers can be verified
Verification codes go to mobile numbers in Africa, Europe and the United States. Here is what happens if yours is registered elsewhere, and how to verify when it is not.
myPandos sends a verification code by SMS or WhatsApp to confirm that a phone number really belongs to you. A confirmed number is what unlocks the account changes that need one, and it is how we reach you quickly if something needs your attention.
Where we can send a code
Verification is available for mobile numbers in Africa, Europe and the United States. That covers every country we currently serve. Numbers registered in Russia are not included.
If your number is somewhere else
The form will tell you straight away that the number is outside the service region, and no code is sent. Nothing is wrong with your account: you can keep using every service you already have. The changes that require a confirmed number simply stay locked until you add a mobile number from one of the regions above.
How to verify
- Sign in at dash.mypandos.io and open Profile from the account menu.
- Under Personal information, enter your mobile number with its country code, for example
+243 970 000 000. - Choose Send code, then type the 6-digit code you receive. It expires after a few minutes; you can request a new one.
Code not arriving?
Check that the country code is right and that the number can receive SMS. Codes to a landline never arrive. If you have requested several codes in a row, wait a few minutes before trying again. If it still fails, open a support ticket and tell us the number's country β never the code itself.
