WordPress Hosting: installing and managing WordPress
WordPress Hosting runs on the same Plesk platform as Shared Hosting, with a one-click installer and management tools built in.
myPandos WordPress Hosting runs on the same Plesk platform as Shared Hosting, with WordPress installation and management tools built in β so you don't need to install WordPress by hand.
Install WordPress
- Log in to Plesk β open your hosting service in the dash (https://dash.mypandos.io) and use the quick tools to sign in, or go to https://plesk.mypandos.io directly.
- Look for Applications (sometimes labelled WordPress) in your domain's dashboard.
- Choose the one-click WordPress installer, set your site title and an admin username and password.
- Install. Plesk creates the database and files for you automatically.
Menu labels can vary slightly between Plesk versions β if you can't find Applications, contact [email protected] and we'll point you to it.
Managing your WordPress site
- Keep WordPress core, themes, and plugins up to date β outdated plugins are the most common cause of a hacked WordPress site.
- Use Plesk's WordPress tools to manage installed plugins and themes without needing separate FTP access for every change.
- Reset your WordPress admin password from the same screen if you're ever locked out.
Already have a WordPress site elsewhere?
You don't need to move it by hand. Open your hosting service in the dash and choose Request Migration β tell us your website's URL, current provider, and control panel (WordPress sites are usually on cPanel, Plesk, or another host), and our team migrates it for you at no charge.
Common issue: a blank white screen
Usually caused by a plugin or theme conflict. In Plesk's file manager, temporarily rename the affected plugin's folder inside wp-content/plugins β WordPress will disable it automatically, and your site should load again so you can investigate.
