Services billed through a contract: what your contract page shows and who renews them
If you have a signed agreement with myPandos, some of your services are priced and billed through that contract rather than individually. This guide shows how to open the contract from your dashboard, what its details mean, and how renewals work for the services it covers.
Some customers hold a signed agreement with myPandos β for example an annual infrastructure agreement β that sets one price for a set of services. Those services are billed through the contract: they carry no price of their own, they are not invoiced one by one, and they are not renewed one by one.
Open your contract
- Sign in to your dashboard at dash.mypandos.io and open one of the services the contract covers.
- Click Renew. Instead of a renewal price, the dialog explains that the service is billed through your contract and renews with it.
- Click Open the contract to see the contract page.
What the contract page shows
- Contract β the contract number and its type.
- Status β whether the contract is active, and which version is in force.
- Term β the period the contract runs for, as dates.
- Next due β when the contract next comes up for renewal.
- Amount β the contract price per billing cycle, for example per year.
- Signed β the date the current version was signed, or that it is not yet signed.
- Services covered β every service billed through the contract, each with its status and the date its current term runs to.
How renewals work
Services covered by a contract are renewed with the contract, by your myPandos contract manager β not from the service page, and never automatically. When the contract is renewed, the term of every covered service is advanced together, and a service term never runs past the end of the contract period.
This is deliberate: it keeps your services in step with the agreement you signed, and it means nothing renews on its own if a contract lapses. If your contract is approaching its next due date, contact your contract manager or open a support ticket from your dashboard.
Certificates covered by a contract
An SSL certificate billed through a contract is re-issued as part of the contract renewal when it is within 30 days of expiry. You receive an email once the new certificate has been issued; nothing is needed from you.
Invoices
You will not receive separate renewal invoices for services covered by a contract. The contract itself is invoiced according to its billing cycle, and those invoices appear under Billing β Invoices like any other.
Sign your contract
When your contract is ready, you receive an email inviting you to review and sign it online. Open the link in that email, read the agreement and sign it. myPandos then countersigns, and the contract becomes active. You do not need an account on any other service to sign.
Download your signed contract
- Open Contracts in the dashboard sidebar and click the contract.
- Under Document, click Signed PDF to download your copy.
The download appears once the contract has been signed by both parties and is active. Before that, the row is not shown. Only you, as the account holder, can download it.
